HOW WE TEACH AT PERFECT ENGLISH

General information

• the primary goal of language teaching is communication
• we pay attention to the needs of the class as a whole as well as to the individual
• The students are active as much as possible during the lessons. The lesson is learner centred rather than teacher centred
• we pay equal attention to the 4 language skills - i.e. reading, writing, speaking, listening
• we make the lessons as varied and as interesting as possible, use audio-visual aids
• we speak in English most of the time, but do not avoid Czech if feasible - complicated grammar explanations, important instructions etc.

CONVERSATION LESSONS

Our aim is:

• ACTIVE learner
• develop communicative skills, enrich vocabulary, improve comprehension, speaking, fluency.
• pay attention to pronunciation, rhythm and intonation
